Working closely with X Studio Architects, our planners obtained resource consent for the construction and use of six standalone, two-storey dwellings.
Auckland Council agreed that the proposed development provided additional dwellings at a higher density in line with expectations set by the Mixed Housing Suburban zone. It’s a higher density than previously allowed for going from one dwelling to six dwellings, however, this increase in density was supported through the design and appearance of the dwellings which offer a good level of modulation, variety in roof forms, colour and materiality.
