In collaboration with Golden Homes, we obtained a bundled land use and subdivision resource consent for this non-complying development in the Residential - Single House zone on Auckland’s Whangaparāoa Peninsula.

The development involved the demolition of an existing dwelling and the construction and use of two new dwellings and two attached minor dwellings.

Overall, Auckland Council agreed that the proposed level of development was in line with what could be expected in the Single House zone and did not detract from the existing streetscape or neighbouring character. This was due to the built form being single storey and the two dwellings being of a scale comparable to the size of dwellings in the immediate surrounds. They would therefore not appear out of place or dominant in the streetscape.
